Sales & Marketing Full-time Tanzania Intermediate

Role overview

We need someone to take that our products and services to market. This is a hands-on, full-cycle role. You’ll find the leads, run the pitch, close the deal, and keep the brand visible between deals. You’re not inheriting a mature pipeline; you’re building one. That means the person who thrives here is comfortable with a cold list, a demo, and a follow-up call that goes nowhere the first three times.

Responsibilities

Sales • Identify and qualify new business — SMEs, financial institutions, NGOs, government agencies and enterprise clients • Run outreach across calls, email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and in-person visits • Deliver product demos of Scacsy’s SaaS products and pitch custom development services • Prepare proposals, quotations and tender documents; support bid submissions • Negotiate and close, then hand over cleanly to the delivery team • Maintain the CRM daily — every lead, stage, note and next action logged and current • Meet monthly and quarterly revenue and pipeline targets Marketing • Plan and execute campaigns across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and email • Produce or brief content: posts, case studies, product one-pagers, client testimonials • Represent Scacsy at industry events, expos, meetups and networking forums • Maintain brand consistency across all outbound material • Track campaign performance and report what’s working Accounts & reporting • Nurture existing clients for renewals, upsells and referrals • Gather market and competitor intelligence to inform product positioning • Submit a weekly report on pipeline, conversion, campaign results and revenue

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field • 2+ years in B2B sales, business development or marketing • Demonstrated track record of hitting targets — be ready to show numbers • Fluent, professional communication in both Kiswahili and English, written and spoken • Confident presenting to senior decision-makers • Working knowledge of CRM software and spreadsheets • Strong self-management: you’ll be trusted to plan your own week • Based in Dar es Salaam, available for regular client visits • Valid national ID and clean references

Nice to have

Experience selling software, SaaS or IT services • Existing network in Tanzanian banking, microfinance, logistics or the NGO sector • Familiarity with Zoho CRM (what we run internally) • Hands-on with Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager or Google Ads • Basic design skills — Canva, Figma or similar — for quick campaign assets • Understanding of tender and procurement processes in Tanzania • Experience writing proposals or RFP responses • Driving licence and own transport • Comfort explaining technical concepts to non-technical buyers
